Help During Disasters
The Best Way to Help
During disasters, the best way you can help survivors is to contribute financially. Cash donations allow disaster responders to immediately meet the specific needs of disaster survivors without incurring many of the costs associated with sorting, packing, transporting and distributing donated goods. Salvation Army disaster services are funded entirely by donors, and The Salvation Army uses 100% of all disaster donations in support of disaster relief operations.
The Salvation Army has opportunities for you to serve in times of disaster with volunteer teams. We provide training across a wide range of volunteer support services and keep you connect with your local Salvation Army for updated information.
If you are interested in learning more about these opportunities, please visit our national disaster services website.
The Salvation Army appreciates donations of personal hygiene products and cleaning supplies for the Hygiene Hub in Eau Claire. We accept any type of food items for the pantry in Chippewa Falls. The Food Pantry also accepts personal hygiene prodcuts.
