Being a small staff, we rely heavily upon volunteer support! These generous individuals dramatically extend our ability to serve those in need. Volunteers provide assistance in a variety of areas from social services to clerical work to character building activities. If you have a skill or just the heart to serve, The Salvation Army has a place for you!

Ring Bells

Salvation Army Volunteer Bell Ringer

The traditional red kettle is an important part of the Christmas scene in keeping with the spirit of the season. Donations provide dinners, clothing, and toys for our neighbors in desperate need. For many of our neighbors, it's still a struggle to pay the bills. To meet the rent. To feed their children. Help The Salvation Army bring hope to those in need.

This year we will have been in Kenosha for 126 years. In honor of our commitment to the community, we have set our 2017 Kettle Goal at $200,000.

Volunteers are needed to man our kettle locations to collect funds for Salvation Army services. The Kettle Campaign is the only annual fundraiser for The Salvation Army. We rely on funds raised during this campaign to not only provide assistance during the holidays but also during the rest of the year. 87.4% of dollars collected go directly to client services!

Your help is their hope.

A full schedule of available dates, times, and locations will be announced soon.

Please call Dustin Beth to sign up and volunteer: (262) 564-0286 ext 102

Help During Disasters

The Best Way to Help
During disasters, the best way you can help survivors is to contribute financially. Cash donations allow disaster responders to immediately meet the specific needs of disaster survivors without incurring many of the costs associated with sorting, packing, transporting and distributing donated goods. Salvation Army disaster services are funded entirely by donors, and The Salvation Army uses 100% of all disaster donations in support of disaster relief operations.

The Salvation Army has opportunities for you to serve in times of disaster with volunteer teams. We provide training across a wide range of volunteer support services and keep you connected with your local Salvation Army for updated information.

If you are interested in learning more about these opportunities, please visit our national disaster services website.
