Responding to the Coronavirus: Keeping Our Communities Safe

The Salvation Army Wisconsin & Upper Michigan Division remains committed to Doing The Most Good for our neighbors in need, especially now as we respond to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. After taking into consideration all of the federal, state and local guidelines, our worship and community centers are making adjustments to their daily activities. See the list below for adjustments to programming. This page will be updated as changes are made.

All worship and community centers scheduled activities and worship services are SUSPENDED until April 30th. Updates will be provided after the 30th.

All thrift store operations have been SUSPENDED until April 30th.

Officers will be on site and buildings will be OPEN for emergency assistance such as food pantries.

For your safety through social distancing, if you would like to help The Salvation Army of Wisconsin and Upper Michigan we are asking that you give in two ways: 

  • Mail a check to The Salvation Army, 11315 W. Watertown Plank Rd., Wauwatosa, WI 53226 and in the memo write "CV19 Help WUM"
  • Donate online

Eau Claire

  • Pre-packaged food boxes available.

Fond du Lac

  • Office Hours
    • M, T, Th, F, 9 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
    •  Weds., 9 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. & 12:30 p.m. - 5 p.m.
  • Drive up food pantry hours:
    • M, T, Th, F, 9 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
    •  Weds., 9 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. & 12:30 p.m. - 5 p.m.
  • Food pantry delivery service available for high-risk individuals
  • Case Management accessible by phone Monday - Friday, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
  • Virtual Sunday Service available Sunday at 10:30 a.m.
  • Warming shelter remains open from 6 p.m. - 8 a.m. nightly thru March 31.

Fox Cities

  • Coffee Club SUSPENDED
  • Food pantries offering pre-boxed food.
  • Lunch meal program providing to-go meals Monday - Friday from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at 130 E. North St.

Green Bay

  • Senior Programming canceled until April 13th (tentative)
  • Basketball and Volleyball leagues are SUSPENDED
  • Gym no longer being rented or used for community events
  • Noon Lunch Program served to-go from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. (until further notice)

Green Bay Kroc Center

  • Licensed childcare services are still open and will be operating for families currently enrolled
  • Building closed and activities SUSPENDED as of 3/17

Hancock

  • Vacation Bible School (March 23-27) canceled
  • Food Pantry open Monday, Wednesday and Friday 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Ishpeming

  • Food pantry offering pre-packaged food boxes
    • Hours: 
      • Monday and Tuesday, 9:30-12:00 & 1:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.
      • Wednesday: 1 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.
      • Thursday: 9:30 a.m. - Noon
  • Ishpeming lunch program SUSPENDED

Janesville

  • Food Pantry Hours are Monday - Friday - 11:00 am - 3:30 pm - You will need to call 757-8300 and ask for the Food Pantry. Pantry orders will be pre-packed.
  • Meal Site Hours are Monday - Friday - 11:00 am - 1:00 pm - Lunch program will be grab-and-go sack lunches.
  • Women’s Ministries, Bible Study, Community Night SUSPENDED
  • Others Benefit Luncheon (April 29) canceled

Kenosha

  • Food Pantry offering pre-packaged food Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.

La Crosse

Marinette

  • Food pantry hours: Tuesdays & Thursdays 9:30 a.m. - 12 p.m. & 1 p.m. - 3 p.m.

Marquette, MI

  • Food pantry offering pre-packaged food boxes
